Guide: Setup Linked Role In Prism

This article explains how to set up Linked Roles in Prism. With this feature, the bot verifies if members are subscribed to a specific YouTube channel and automatically assigns them the corresponding role, giving them access to exclusive spaces in your server.

Creating Your Bot

To create a bot, you first need to head into Discord Developer Portal and click New Application. Give it a suitable name that matches your server or channel — for example, I used "Harry Styles!" — and click Create. Optionally, you can add an avatar for your bot to make it look more personalized.

Linked Role Tags

Members with this role will have a Role Tag next to their usernames in chat. This tag shows the name of the Linked Role and can be hovered over to see the checks the user passed to get the role.
